Vooroom Global Ltd (VGL) started its Research and development (R&D) activities as a result of it’s founding director recognizing three very common but under-resourced conditions, prevalent in over 55% of the population of the western world.
Pain is considered chronic when persisting past the standardized healing period. The lack of an acute physiological warning function of the sensory nervous system leads to chronic pain. Chronic pain is usually regarded as chronically persisting nervous system dysfunctionality constant or recurring over 3 months or longer.
Anxiety is an emotion characterized by perceived feelings of tension, worried thoughts, and physical changes such as increased blood pressure, gastro intestinal issues, and reproductive organ dysfunction. Those with anxiety disorders have recurring intrusive thoughts or concerns which leads to neurosis, and other serious mental diseases inherent in the Western lifestyle.
Depression is the absence of life purpose, a sense of direction-less-ness, and overall feeling of malaise, inhibiting, and gradually destroying the ability to carry out normal daily activities. There are many different types of depression, and symptoms range from relatively minor to severe. Depression can also lead to suicide, violence, and antisocial behaviour, having a negative social effects on communities and the care-givers of those in a state of depression.
The principal of Vooroom Global Ltd (VGL), an ex-pat Canadian national residing in Japan, became acquainted with a renowned Australian philanthropist in Hong Kong. It was these visionary minds creating the possibilities of VGL as a special purpose vehicle. Through mutual trust and a common vision to treat and heal the chronic conditions now plaguing humanity, both parties agreed to commence capital raising in Australia for research and development into organic molecules, ethnobotanicals, and natural occurring analogues and alkaloids to heal the chronically challenged. This venture also committed to developing treatment protocols and manufacturing processes.
The initial capital was raised to establish a complete R&D facility in Hong Kong. However, due to the large amount of capital necessary to fund R&D from preliminary invitro and invivo research through to clinical trials, under the recent global economic circumstances; it has been assessed as being outside acceptable project risk parameters at this time. During this start-up phase the principal of VGL met the owner of one of the largest natural medicine companies in Europe who was in the process of establishing a sophisticated high-tech GMP certified Laboratory and production plant in northern Europe. Their collaboration resulted in a Joint Venture Partnership (JVP) dedicated to providing relief for people suffering from the most common afflictions which, research shows, are usually the most under-sourced.
VGL then identified a technology services specialist who could scope, develop and implement the highly specialised platform to run pre-clinical and clinical trials. The potential for this type of platform was in such demand that the developers decided to build and retain ownership of the functional platform themselves and simply license its use. This collaboration has resulted in VGL providing the developer with the necessary Intellectual Property (IP) required to scope and build the platform which has resulted in a favourable head license agreement being established. VGL has also acquired several other niche market applications, together with securing a license for a global business administration and management platform, to run its future day-to-day operations and ongoing distribution.
